Field Peppercress Seeds - Lepidium Campestre - Delicious, Pungent, and Abundant
Quantity: 100 Seeds
Field Peppercress, aka Lepidium Campestre, is a high yielding spice plant in the Mustard family, Brassicaceae. It produces an abundance of seeds that taste like a combination of mustard and black pepper. The seeds can be ground fresh, but the flavour is enhanced when the seeds are lightly roasted before grinding. Field Peppercress is very productive, and just 10 plants grown in ideal conditions can yield 1/4 litre of seeds. The leaves are also edible and delicious, and can be enjoyed in salads, soups, and as a garnish.
All seeds are organic and open pollinated.

Growing Instructions
Seeds may be started in early spring in pots, but perform better when directly sown outdoors around the time of last frost. They are best sown 1/8 inch beneath the soils surface. Plants don’t require much once established other than water and mulch. This plant prefers to grow in full sun, and soil that drains free from water. The plants are tolerant of deer, pest, drought, and flood.
