Growing Instructions
It's best to start Cleome seeds in late winter or early spring; here at the farm, we start them in early May. It's good to sow them directly in the ground, but can be started indoors 2-4 weeks before transplanting outside. The soil should be moist, but not soggy. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil, or 1/4 inch deep. Seeds can take between 2-3 weeks to germinate, but they can sometimes take less time too.
