Yellow Snapdragon Seeds - Antirrhinum Majus - Pollinator Friendly & Beautiful
Quantity: 50+ Seeds
Yellow snapdragon is a perennial member of the Figwort family, Scrophulariaceae. These beautiful plants can grow up to 3 feet tall, and bloom in abundance. Although an individual flower doesn't last very long, the raceme (flowering stalk) staggers its blooms, so the plant is essentially in bloom for multiple months. Snapdragons are great for cut flower bouquets because they will continue blooming for weeks when in a watered vase. The bright Yellow flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, including hummingbirds, so planting them anywhere near the garden will increase pollination of crops and other plants in the area. As a bonus, the fglowerrs are edible, and make a lovely garnish for salads, soups, and deserts.
Once established, the plants need nothing more than a layer of mulch and regular watering. they are a very low maintenance yet satisfying flower to grow. Snapdragons are resistant to deer and other pests.

Growing Instructions
Yellow Snapdragon seeds may be started in pots in the spring, or directly sown into the ground. If sown indoors, plant the seeds in a sterile growing medium; most available seed starting soils should do the job nicely; we use sunshine mix (peat moss and perlite). The soil should be made moist, but not damp. Sow the seeds 1/8 inch below the soil surface, or even sown on the surface. Store in a warm area until tiny sprouts emerge from the soil. Once germinated, and the first true leaf has formed, it's time to pot up to a larger container that contains a good quality potting soil. Transplant to their final location when the nighttime temperatures are consistently 8°C or higher.
